Petty Officer Second Class Joshua Xaverius Noz, born January 19, 1988 in Modesto, CA and passed away while stationed in Honolulu, Hawaii.
Joshua grew up in Denair, CA, where he attended and graduated from Denair Unified School District and went on to study at Modesto Junior College. He enlisted in the U.S. Coast Guard in 2011 and quickly excelled as a Machinery Technician. Joshua loved being outdoors, shooting, scuba diving, spending time with family and friends and playing the occasional practical joke on his family and fellow ship mates.
He is survived by his wife Kayli and son Eli; mother and father, Diane and Casper Noz; two sisters, Stephanie De Muro & Andrea Waugaman; niece Emma Huber; and nephews, Logan Huber & Casper De Muro.
Rosary will be given on Thursday, April 7, 2016 @ 9:00am at Allen Mortuary in Turlock, CA, followed by Mass at 10:00am at Our Lady of Assumption, 2602 S. Walnut St., Turlock, CA. Honor Guard service will be held at the Church. Burial is private. A reception will take place at the Denair Community Center.
