Born in Ottumwa, Iowa on May 10, 1951 Kenny and his family later relocated to Modesto when he was a small child. He attended Stanislaus State University upon graduating from Downey High School, earning a degree in Accounting. Never one to follow a traditional path, Kenny changed course to pursue a lifelong career as a multifaceted pipefitter, certified welder and foreman with the Plumbers & Pipefitters Local Union 442. Ken was a trusted mentor and friend to many. He loved his work and the close, lifelong friendships he made along the way. Known for his sharp wit and even sharper intelligence, Ken could tell a story like no one else and few escaped his elaborate pranks.
A steadfast animal lover, Kenny always had a dog by his side, in his lap or in his truck. Aside from being a talented craftsman, he also enjoyed playing music, fishing, restoring cars, remodeling homes, and collecting unique vintage items. An avid sports fan, Ken's love of Raiders football was eclipsed only by his love for his Harley Davidson!
Kenny's family meant the world to him. He was a cherished brother and son; and a loving, sweet, and devoted father and grandfather—beloved by his daughters and grandchildren. His affection and unwavering support for his girls was evident to anyone who knew him. Living up to the values of his Freemason brotherhood, Kenny was unstintingly generous to anyone that needed a helping hand. His kind heart and infectious humor will be remembered by the many loyal friends and loved ones he left behind. He was truly one of a kind and will be deeply missed. "Until we meet again, my brother." Please join us to celebrate Kenny's life at his home on Sunday, April 10 at 3:00 – 6:00pm. Food and refreshments will be provided.
