Merete Clardy

MERETE CLARDY NOV 1945 ~ JUN 2011 Merete was born and raised in Odense, Denmark. She moved to Bakersfield in 1958 before settling in Turlock in 1981. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints; and had worked for Budget Self Storage for 23 years. Merete enjoyed quilting, knitting, painting and raising her grandkids. God and family were her life. She is survived by her husband Harvey Clardy; mother Kirsten Schiller; children Chris Clardy, Lanette Sullivan and Wanda Hodge all of Turlock; siblings, Vibeke Anderson, Hanna Davis, and Maria Berian; eleven grand- children and 2 great-grand- children. She is preceded in death by her daughter Terrie Clardy and father Terje Schiller. Arrangements are entrusted to Allen Mortuary. Memorial service will be held at Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on Saturday, June 11, 2011 at 10:00 am.
