Michael den Dulk, age 66, passed away on Sunday, October 30, 2022, in Honolulu, Hawaii after a brief illness. His brother Jim den Dulk and daughter Amy den Dulk along with her fiancé Trevor Ryan were by his side. Born and raised in Ripon, CA, Mike was a 36 year resident of Kailua-Kona, Hawaii where he worked as a job superintendent for MARYL Construction. Later he branched out on his own as a painting contractor and also worked at United Airlines. Mike was a member of Living Stones Church in Kailua-Kona, HI and loved his church family there. While Mike knew challenges in life, his hope and identity was as a covenant child of God, in Jesus Christ, his Lord and Savior. He will be remembered for his free--sometimes headstrong--spirit, his quick wit and sense of humor and love for family and friends.
Mike is preceded in death by his father Marvin H den Dulk. He is survived by his son Arie den Dulk of Tokyo, Japan; daughter Amy den Dulk of Tahoe City, CA and her fiancé Trevor Ryan; mother Edith den Dulk of Ripon, CA; sister Deb Van Groningen (Mark) of Ripon, CA; brother Jim den Dulk (Andrea) of Folsom, CA; sister Shari Post (Dick) of Grand Rapids, MI; and many nieces and nephews whom he all loved very much.
A Celebration of Life for Mike will be held at 11:00 am Pacific time on Saturday, December 10, 2022, at Immanuel Christian Reformed Church located at 517 Orange Avenue, Ripon, CA. The Celebration of Life will also be live streamed at: https://www.immanuelcrc.org/watch. Services will be officiated by Pastor Patrick Anthony. Interment will be at Ripon Cemetery.
