Modesto, California - It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Michelle M. Scott, a beloved daughter, sister, auntie, and friend. Michelle entered into eternal rest surrounded by love and cherished memories.
Michelle is survived by her loving mother, Diana Scott; her devoted brother, Keith Scott; sister-in-law, Billie Scott; and her adored nephew and niece, Devyn and Audriann. She was preceded in death by her father, Donald Scott, and her beloved grandparents, all of whom she now joins in peace.
A lifelong resident of the Modesto area, Michelle was a devoted member of First United Methodist Church of Modesto, where her faith and compassion touched all who knew her. She dedicated 23 years of service as a Dietary Aide at Bethel Retirement Community, where her kindness and caring spirit made a lasting impression on residents and coworkers alike.
Michelle was known for her generous heart and her remarkable ability to make everyone feel like family. She never met a stranger-only new friends. Her hugs were warm, her laughter contagious, and her love unconditional. Once she met you, you were part of her circle of care forever.
Michelle will be deeply missed by all who were fortunate enough to know her. Her memory will continue to live on in the hearts of those she touched with her kindness, her joy, and her unwavering love.
Celebration of Life will be held at First United Methodist on Saturday November 1, 2025 at 2:30 PM.

I had the honor and pleasure of working with Michelle's mother, Diana Scott, at Modesto High School for many years. Not only was Diana an exemplary public servant and outstanding worker, she was an outstanding mother. Michelle often visited her mother at work, where her dazzling smile and sweetness brightened many a gloomy day. My heart goes out to Diana and her family.
