Nathan Jaso Obituary

Nathan William Jaso

March 15, 1997 - September 30, 2025

Modesto, California - Nathan was born and raised in Modesto where he attended public schools, graduating from Downey High School in 2015.

Throughout his short life, Nathan developed interests in truck driving, writing music, playing the guitar, gaming, creating animations, and baking. He was always working to perfect his works of art, such as a butterscotch pie for his Papa. His chocolate chip cookies were second to none.

Nathan is survived by his parents, Andrew Jaso and Michelle Felkins (Rick); brother and best friend, Christopher; grandparents Gary Wooley (Cathy), Elsie Wooley, and Melva Felkins. He also leaves many aunts, uncles, an abundance of cousins; his lifetime friend Robert Jensen; and other friends from all over the area.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Nathan's honor can be made to National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) or American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 11, 2025, at the Sylvan Improvement Club, 2545 Sylvan Avenue, Modesto, CA. Times will be announced on the Franklin and Downs Funeral Home Website at: www.Franklindownsfuneralhome.com
