Paul Ventimiglia Obituary

Modesto, California - Paul "Jack" Ventimiglia, 85, of Modesto California, died on February, 5, 2022. Paul was born in Brooklyn, New York, and migrated to Modesto, California, with his family in 1950. Paul graduated from Modesto High School "class of 54" and served in the U.S. Navy. Prior to owning his own title and escrow company, Paul attended Modesto Jr. College and worked diligently in the local business community. His work ethic and generous nature were an inspiration to his family and friends. In his spare time, he loved to golf and watch his Dodger baseball. Paul was predeceased by his wife, Racheal, parents, Mary and Paul, and his sister, Norma. He is survived by his brother, Nick Ventimiglia (Connie) of Pacific Grove, Ca., and his two daughters, Toni David (Tim) and Jackie Ventimiglia of Modesto. In addition, Paul leaves behind his grandchildren, Jillian, Tim Jr. (Jen), Kattie (Nick), and great-grandchildren, Jackson and Maddie. He will be greatly missed by his best friend and companion, Judy Price, brother-in-law, Billy Garcia (Cindy), nieces, nephews, and his remaining New York famiglia. The family would like to thank his loving caregivers, Maria, Annette, Virginia, Anita, Laura, Lynn, and Theresa for their compassionate care, and Community Hospice for their expertise and support. Private graveside services are pending.

In 1951 we also migrated to California but from Oklahoma. We rented the home Next door at 1404 Giahos Avenue to the Ventimiglia family.
They were the first Brooklynites, the first Italians and the first Catholics I ever met. Mrs Ventimiglia was a wonderfully warm person and I became good friends with Gasper, Jack's younger brother.

My mother, Rose Martin and Jack worked together for years in the Title Business with Gus Simvolakis, Nick Varvendakis, Robert Anderson and others and we treasured the memories of Paul and all the joy he brought to people he met. R.I.P. dear friend.

Met Paul through doing business at his Title company First American for years. Had the opportunity to go to breakfast with him on occasion, He was always personable and took time to say hello. My condolences go out to his family.

Very sorry to read of Jack´s passing! My dad Benny was a friend and classmate at MHS and I had the pleasure of his company on several occasions!! Judy also my dad´s neighbor! Sending thoughts and prayers to the family!!

I first met Jack in my early 20's and remember him as honest, wise, and always standing up for what is right. He was a nice guy but always operated by his principles. He was a good example!
