Gonna miss you Pete...
Remember our orientation, as young kids, to the art of 'tequila'...
Remember the 'ride' in the new '59 Porsche way back when.... You, were our James Dean...
We looked up to you, you were our 'Cousin Pete'..
You passed on our Dads birthday, he loved you man...
You were your fathers 'prodigal son' as Uncle Vito would say lovingly...
Linda, thanks for loving and caring for Pete.... He will be missed.

Pete, you will be missed....
You left an imprint in my life, my brothers and sister.
Remember the ride in the new Porsche, back in '59...You, were our James Dean.
You introduced us to tequila, and your infamous 'smoke rings'....
Your art talent I tried to emulate, with no success..... You were our icon. You were 'the man'...
Linda, thanks for giving Pete love and peace in his life, he loved you very much...
Uncle Vito called you his 'Prodigal Son'....with love.
You passed on our fathers birthday, June 19...Dad loved the heck out of you....
Peace to you, Cousin.

In memory of Pete Genova from his cousin Rich Genova.
Growing up in Burbank, Ca my family (John,Fanny and kids) would, for years each summer, visit our Uncle Vito and Aunt Nina for 4 or 5 days. We were considered the "city cousins" and Pete, Dominic and Joann the "country cousins". We cherished the times we had visiting our bigger cousins...they being 10-12 years older.
Many a time my brothers and I would play catch with Pete and Dominic on their parents front lawn.
(I'll never forget the time Pete taught me how to throw a curve ball! "See the little ripple" he would say).
When Pete married Linda he was 44 years old and thought to be the oldest in the Genova family to marry.
Well, Pete, I was married at age 57 to my wife Mary last November. I only wish you and Linda could have been at the wedding.
As the saying goes in golf, a game Pete excelled in, "See you at the 19th hole"...we can share a laugh or two!
Your "city cousin",
Rich

Ah, Cousin Petey! What a guy! He was legendary and larger-than-life to my brothers and me when we were growing up! His sports cars and Great Danes greeted our family on our yearly trips to visit Pete's family. Like the rest of the Genovas, he took time to entertain us, and he regaled us with tales of his adventures. Thanks, Pete, for being a vital part of our lives! And thanks, Linda, for bringing so much happiness to his life! We love you both!

We remember talking with Pete about his trips to Italy and his love for that country and it's people. He expecially loved Carini, Sicily. Pete you will be missed.
