He worked as a Ranch Foreman for Gallagher Vineyards for the 24 years he has lived in Manteca.
He was a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church of Manteca. Raul enjoyed the outdoors, camping and barbequing for his family. He loved his job and was a true Family Man.
Raul is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Ayala Plascencia of Manteca; mother, Christina DeAnda of Mexico; in-laws, Ramona and Felipa Ayala of Ceres.
Also survived by children, Anessa Arias, Michael A. Plascencia and Raul Plascencia II, all of Manteca; siblings, Baudelio Plascencia, Concha Miranda, Nena Plascencia, Josephina Plascencia, all of Mexico, Ismael Plascencia of Texas, Carmela Padilla of Salida, Livier Arellano of Modesto and Jesus Plascencia of Galt.
He is preceded in death by his father, the late Jose Plascencia.
Visitation will be held Friday, March 30, 2007 from 3pm - 7pm with a Rosary following at 7pm at P.L. Fry and Son Funeral Home.
Mass service will be held Saturday, March 31, 2007 at 10am at St. Anthony's Catholic Church, Manteca. Burial will be private.
Services are under the direction of P.L. Fry and Son Funeral Home.

I met Raul several years ago when we were still in our early twenties and were members of the same church group. Raul was always in a good mood and full of life. Over the years I would run into him around town. My deepest sympathies and condolences to his family in this solemn moment that you're going through.
