RAUL (WITO) VILLARREAL APRIL 3, 1934 - APRIL 18, 2007 Mr. Raul Villarreal passed away on Tuesday, April 18, 2007 at the age of 73. He was a long time resident of Union City and Fremont, CA before residing in Ceres, CA. He was a member of the St. Jude Catholic Church. Raul was a boxer and finalist for representing the US Olympic boxing team.
He worked for Gerber's Baby Food Co in Oakland, CA for 25 years. Raul's hobbies included spending time at the horse races, playing cards and was an avid 49'ers and Giants fan. He enjoyed spending time with his family and had an infectious personality with his wonderful sense of humor.
Raul is survived by his wife of 53 years, Lupe; his three sons, Raul Villarreal Jr., of San Leandro, CA, Ruben Villarreal of Modesto, CA and Rick Villarreal of Union City, CA; his two daughters, Sandra Villarreal of Stockton, CA and Armida Villarreal of Ceres, CA; and one brother, Abel Villarreal; also 7 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
His sisters, Ester and Celia; and two brothers, Manuel and Gilbert preceded Raul in death.
Visitation will be held on Thurs., April 26 from 4:00-8:00 at Lakewood Memorial Chapel, 900 Santa Fe Ave., in Hughson, CA. The Rosary will be held at 6:30 pm, same day. A Mass and funeral services to be held at 10:00 am Friday, April 27 at St. Anthony's Catholic Church, 7820 Fox Rd., in Hughson.

Sending love and prayers to Lupe and family. Raul was a very special person and will certainly be remembered by our great God Jehovah on resurrection day. I feel so blessed to know the Villareal family in Hughson for so many years and have them as patients as well. Agape love Dr Sonni Alvarez
