Ronald Wayne "Ron" Christopherson

RONALD WAYNE CHRISTOPHERSON (RON) AUG. 17, 1953 - FEB. 22, 2008 Ron passed away quietly at his home in Turlock. He will be remembered as a man who loved his family and will be forever loved and missed by those he left behind. Ron was born and raised in Patterson where he enjoyed a childhood of working and playing on the family farm that fostered his love of animals. He learned to fix anything, turning out to be very handy on the farm as well as to his many family members who called on his services often. Ron was also known for his superb green thumb and great, dry sense of humor. As a young man he was quite the guitar player, playing with a local band Hector Myoli. His later years were spent enjoying time with family. He worked as a tile setter with his brother, son and nephew. Ron is survived by his wife, Debbie; sons, Ryan of Patterson, Tyler of Turlock and daughter, Alissa of Turlock; step-son, Jeremy J. and wife, Koni Linn; step-daughter, Stephanie and husband, Brian Sanders, who brought him joy by presenting him with 6 grandchildren: Dalton Linn, Dylan and Kylie Souza, Brian Jr., Jenna and Alex Sanders, all of Turlock. He is also survived by his mother, Maxine Christopherson of Patterson; sister, Joan; brothers, Bob and sister-n-law, Carol of Villa Park, John and sister-in-law, Rosie of Patterson; also numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceeded in death by his father, Robert. Memorial service will be held Thursday, Feb. 28, at 4:00 p.m., at Our Saviour's Lutheran Church, 650 W.
