Rudy was a very loving, honorable, generous, happy man that had such a humble and kind soul that will be missed by so many, especially his family. He loved to play golf, fish, coach baseball, and restore his old car. He was a veteran of the National Guard of California, a veteran of the U.S. Army Reserves, a dedicated member of the Elks Lodge #1282 for 27 years, and was Elk of the Year in 2006. He was involved for many years with his love and dedication for the Veterans. Rest in peace Dad, Grandpa, Brother, Uncle and very dear friend. We love and miss you beyond any words that could ever describe. You will forever be our angel watching over us all. We see your signs that you are with us, and we feel your love. Until we see you again in heaven above, love, laugh, and dance with the angels.

Rudy was a another father figure for me (and co-worker) during those formative high school years and beyond. A great father to Mike and a heck of a fisherman! So great to last see him at my dad's funeral and just wanted to say how blessed I was to know him for all the years. Like all of our fathers who have passed, you will be greatly missed. Eternal rest grant unto him O Lord and may perpetual light shine upon him. Through the mercy of God may he rest in peace.
