Tony Rocha Obituary

TONY ROCHA JUNE 10, 1944 - JULY 9, 2007 Tony Rocha, age 63, passed away on July 9, 2007 at his home in Escalon. He was born on June 10, 1944 in Gilroy, CA. He had been a resident of Escalon for 57 years.

He worked for Gehrig Component Framing in Tracy for 14 years and he really felt that they were a part of his extended family. He also was a partner with his dad in the dairy business in Escalon. He loved to fish, loved to spend time with Paula and the rest of his family; gardening, and riding his mule, Roan Star who he has had for 31 years. He was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church, American Mule Association, Back Country Horseman - Mid Valley Unit and The Escalon Fair Boosters.

He is survived by his wife of 21 years, Paula Rocha of Escalon; his son, Shawn Rocha (and his wife, Tia) of Stockton; son, Ted Rocha (and his wife Sophia) of Orange County; son, Jack Rocha of Modesto; daughter, Kathleen Lial; son, John Michael Lial; and son, Vincent Vinny'' Rocha, all of Escalon; grand children: Taylor Rocha, Christian Rocha and Brooks Rocha, all of Orange County; and also John Paul Lial of Escalon, Madison Rocha of Stockton and Vicente Gonzalez of Escalon; his mother, Aileen Rocha of Escalon; and sister, Deby Faria (and her husband, Tony), also of Escalon.

He was preceded in death by his father, Jack Rocha and his brother, Ron Rocha.

Visitation: Sunday, July 15 from 1-4 pm at Deegan funeral Chapel, Escalon. Rosary/Mass: Monday, July 16 at 9:30 am at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Hwy 120, Escalon. Committal will be at St. John's Catholic Cemetery, Escalon.

I just learned about your loss today when I returned to work, so I'm so sorry to be late in offering condolences. Please remind yourself everyday that you did everything in your power for Tony, and that he knew and trusted in that. Please remember that you have friends that truly love & care for you - don't be afraid to lean on us!

Our thoughts are with the entire Rocha family at this sad time.This is not the end of life but the beginning of a final journey.Its a sad time but at the same time rejoice for Tony's peace and tranquility.
