Vera Mary Trindade, 93 of Gustine passed away Sunday, April 12th at Memorial Medical Center in Modesto.
Mrs. Trindade was born in Tranquillity, California and was a resident of Gustine for the past 15 years and resided in Merced County for 79 years. She was a homemaker. She was a parishioner of the Shrine of Our Lady of Miracles in Gustine and a member of the Catholic Daughters and SPRSI (Sociedade Portuguesa Rainha Santa Isabel).
Mrs. Trindade is survived by her sons, father Leonard Trindade of Gustine, Edward Trindade of Merced and Robert Trindade of Hilmar; daughters, Arlene Paquito of Denair and Maryann Biddle of Stockton; brothers, Joe E. Lopes of Gustine and John Lopes of Oregon; sisters, Palmira Treshler and Diolinda Gomes both of Gustine; 9 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe R. Trindade; brothers, Manuel Lopes and Tony Lopes and sister, Mary Amarante.
A Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm followed by a Rosary at 7:00 pm, Thursday, April 16th at the Shrine of Our Lady of Miracles in Gustine. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 2:00 pm, Friday, April 17th at the Shrine of Our Lady of Miracles in Gustine. A Private Interment will be at a later date at Winton Cemetery in Winton.
Donations may be made to: Shrine of Our Lady of Miracles Catholic School, 370 Linden Avenue, Gustine, CA 95322.
Services conducted by Hillview Funeral Chapel, Gustine.
