Sandra Redfern Obituary
Family and friends may visit 3-8 p.m. today at Rupp Funeral Home, where services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday. Rev. Jennifer Kiefer, pastor of St. John Lutheran Church in Dundee, will officiate. Burial will follow at Michigan Memorial Park Cemetery, Flat Rock, Mich.
Born Feb. 13, 1958 in Wyandotte, Mich., she was the daughter of the late Lee and Cinderella (Adkins) Towry. She was a 1976 graduate of Dundee High School and married William L. Redfern on Oct. 29, 2005 at St. John Lutheran Church, Dundee.
Sandy was employed by H&N Manufacturing for approximately 10 years and was currently employed by Clean Tech, both of Dundee. She was a member of Dundee Senior Citizens and enjoyed reading, fishing, bird watching, playing with her grandchildren and photographing family members and nature.
Sandy is survived by her husband, Bill, of Dundee; four children: Mark (Angela) Funchion of Monroe, Nichole (Jason) Wolf of Louisville, Ky., Trevor (Jessica) Funchion of Tecumseh and Eric Funchion of Dundee; two stepchildren, Steven (Laurie) Redfern of Maybee and Scott Redfern of Tecumseh; two sisters, Donna (Ken) Chambers of Monroe and Christine (Bill) Rose of Lake Mary, Fla.; six grandchildren: Brandon Krueger, Brittanni Wolf, Alivia Funchion, Wyatt Funchion, William Redfern and Patrick Redfern.
In addition to her parents, Sandy was also preceded in death by a son, William Funchion; brother, Robert Towry; sister, Zella Wash; and stepmother, Sue Towry.
Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.

I am so sorry. I worked with Sandy. Such a sweet person. We had to give each other a hug every time we seen each other. When I went to give her a break off of her line she was at, First thing she said to me was "Mornin' sunshine." I will miss her so much, her hugs, her Mornin sunshine. She had a special place in my heart and still does. One more hug ((((HUGS)))), until we meet again.
