This candle represents Linda, a bright light who projected warmth. One cannot picture her without a smile, so the photo is perfect. That's how she's remembered: smiling, gracious, always pleasant.
Linda was a star in high school. That our salutatorian would earn advanced degrees is no surprise. A passionate learner, she. And her passion for learning no doubt contributed to her career choice of education.
Linda returned for the 40+ Reunion of Rogers Class of 1967 in 2008. How good it was to see her!
Now her passing brings shock and sorrow to her classmates.
Condolences to sons Brigham and Luke, siblings John, Darlene, and Kathy, and all other family members. Your keeping Linda's guest book online permanently is a wonderful tribute to her.
It was a privilege and pleasure to know Linda. May you who loved her best and longest find comfort in your faith, and in the expressions of sympathy from those who held Linda in such high esteem. She is, and will continue to be, missed.

I was saddened to learn of Linda's death. Two years ago she wrote at Christmas to tell me of her bout with breast cancer. I wrote to her last Christmas but the letter was returned. I felt a kinship with her because she and I were the same age. Her mother with whom I was very close frequently mentioned her to me and kept me abreast of her accomplishments and the whereabouts of her children. Please know that my thoughts are with your family. I trust that wonderful memories of your times together will bring you comfort. Lois Mitten Rosenberry, Toledo
