THOMAS, Mr. Albert Eugene, 28, of 4050-A Beth Manor Drive, Montgomery, AL, formerly of Phenix City, AL, died Sunday, July 22, 2001 at Baptist Medical Center East, Montg., AL. Funeral Service will be 1:30 EST Saturday, July 28, 2001 at the Cool Spring Baptist Church, Pittsview, AL, Rev. Johnny Walton will officiate. Interment will be in the church cemetery according to Taylor Funeral Home, Phenix City, AL. Mr. Thomas was born February 16, 1973 in Russell County, AL, the son of Albert Thomas and Jessie Thomas Woods. Mr. Thomas had lived in Montgomery, AL, for the past nine years and he was employed by the Montgomery County Board of Education serving as a teacher at Carver High School. He was a member of the Colbert A.M.E. Church, Seale, AL and he was affiliated with Hutchinson Missionary Baptist Church, Montgomery, AL. A 1991 graduate of Central High School, Phenix City, AL and a graduate of Alabama State University, Montgomery, AL. And he was also a member of the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity. Survivors include his father, Albert Thomas, Phenix City, AL; mother, Jessie Thomas Woods, Jonesboro, GA; one son, Ginovious Thomas, Montgomery, AL; one brother, Kelvin M. Thomas, Phenix City, AL and one sister, V. Michelle Thomas, Montgomery, AL.
