COTTRELL BOYD Obituary

BOYD, Cottrell M. Pete, 68, a resi-dent of Sprague, AL died Saturday, March 22, 2003 in a local hospital after an extended illness. Visitation will be held Sunday, March 23, 2003, at Leak Memory Chapel from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. Funeral services are scheduled for Monday, March 24, 2003 at 11:00 a.m. at Leak Memory Chapel with Rev. Chuck Francisco, officiating. Burial will follow in Fo-rest Hills Memorial Park, Snowdoun, AL. Mr. Boyd is preceded in death by his parents, Walter James (Bud) Boyd and Susie Mae Boyd, and long-time companion, Betty Gul-ledge.Survivors include his children, Jim Boyd, Memphis TN; Danny Boyd, Birmingham, AL; Jennie Barrett, We-tumpka, AL; Johnny Boyd, We-tumpka, AL; Jeff Boyd, Sprague, AL; and also Debra Conn, Wetumpka, AL; Margaret Gulledge, Montgom-ery, AL; Fred Gulledge, Montgom-ery, AL; and Cary Gulledge, Mo-bile, AL; sister, Annette Boyd, Spra-gue, AL; brothers, Buddy Boyd, Sprague, AL; Sonny Boyd, Sprague, AL; Joe Boyd, Montgomery, AL; Bill Boyd, Montgomery, AL; and Eu-gene Boyd, Highland Home, AL; grandchildren, Katie Boyd, Justin Barrett, Virginia Boyd, Whitney Bar-rett, Carolyn Boyd, Martha Boyd, and Jacob Boyd. Pall Bearers will be Lee Boyd, Bruce Boyd, Gerald Boyd, Ashley Boyd, Jamie Boyd, and Terry Robinson. In lieu of flow-ers, contributions can be made to the American Lung Association or to one's favorite charity.Leak-Memory Chapel Directing
