JASPER LATIMER Obituary

LATIMER, Master Sergeant Jasper (Retired), a resident of Montgomery, AL, died Friday, February 1, 2002. Funeral services are scheduled for Wednesday, February 6, 2002 at 12:00 p.m. from Shiloh Baptist Church with Reverend McFarland officiating. Burial will follow in Heritage Cemetery. He served in the United States Air Force for 23 years, retiring in 1988. He also served 13 years Civil Service for a total of 36 years in Federal Service. He is survived by his wife, Sarah Ann Latimer (Thomas); children, Theresa Osborne, Kenneth Latimer and Jerry Latimer, all of AL, William (Kimberly) Latimer of Germany and Lucretia Taylor of MS; six grandchildren, Kellen Osborne, Kenneth Latimer, II, Jayna Latimer, Damion Wright and Jabria Wright. He also leaves sisters, Rejoice Wilson, Willie Ruth (Glenn) Carter and Hattie Bell Latimer, all of Richland, GA; and one brother, Oliver Latimer of McDonough, GA. He was preceded in death by his mother, Lucy, and his brother, James Latimer. He has a host of nieces, nephews, family, friends, and loved ones abroad.
