I was Steve's roommate for about a week when we were at Rehab South this summer. He was a great guy, and I thought he was on the road to recovery. I was there because of a serious car accident, and God blessed me with getting over my injuries. I am sorry for your loss.

I am heartbroken to hear about the passing of Steve. He was my sales manager at BellSouth for 7 years but more importantly a great friend. He was one of the most genuine men I've ever known. He had a big heart and was truly a special person. My thoughts and prayers are with you during this very difficult time.

Mr & Mrs Kervin, I have known and worked with Steve since 1992. I already miss him and can't begin to understand your pain and sorrow. Please take solace in the fact that you raised a good man that dearly loved his family. And he loved the two of very much, appreciated all you've done for him and always spoke of you lovingly. We have been friends for 22 years and there will be a hole in my life where he once lived.

I have wanted to see Steve for years. I miss him terribly. I have quite a collection of photos for you. I have CD labeled LOST TAPES. It has the song Steve wrote, the gospel tune with Steve singing. My entire family is praying gor you. Steve is pain free and playing his music right now. Love to your famil.
