WRIGHT, Kenneth Charles,age 72, a resident of Wetumpka, AL passed awayTuesday, May 27, 2008. Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 31, 2008 at 10:00a.m. at Gassett Funeral HomeChapel with Rev. Kenny Hillofficiating. Burial will follow inPine View Gardens with Gassett Funeral Home of Wetumpka directing. Mr. Wrightis preceded in death by hisparents, Harold E. and RuthBaker Wright; two brothers,Earl Wright and Jimmy Wright;two sisters, Lois Wright andJanet Wright; father-in-law,James C. Peacock. He is survived by his wife, Iris Wright;one son, Ronnie (& wife Angie) Wright of Tallassee, AL;one daughter, Sharon Wright(& husband David) Harris ofTucson, AZ; three grandchildren, Matthew (& wife Carol)Wright of Notasulga, AL;Mitchell Wright of Tallassee,AL; Hannah Harris of Tucson,AZ; two great-grandchildren;three sisters, Connie (& husband Barry) Miller of Sebring,FL; Ardella Smith of Newport,PA; Cheryl (& husband Dave)Bordner of Winfield, PA; threebrothers, Dick (& wife Grace)Wright of Newport, PA; Wayne(& wife Joanne) Wright ofYork Springs, PA; Denny (&wife Deb) Wright of Halifax,PA; four brothers-in-law & sisters-in-law, Wayne (Jo Ann)Peacock of Eclectic, AL; Rayford (Sara) Peacock of Montgomery, AL; Neil (Dianne)Peacock of Prattville, AL; Max(Arlene) Davis of Troy, AL; Doris Floyd of Troy, AL; HazelWright of Newport, PA; mother-in-law, Bessie Kate Wood ofTroy, AL; numerous nieces,nephews, great nieces, andgreat nephews in AL, PA, andMS. Mr. Wright served in theU.S. Air Force v Veteran of Korean Conflict. He retired fromthe U.S. Government (CivilService) at Maxwell Air ForceBase. Visitation will be heldFriday, May 30, 2008 from6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. atGassett Funeral Home. In lieuof flowers, memorial contributions may be made to theAmerican Heart Association.
