Carol Bell Obituary

Carol E. (Kronmiller) Bell Of Lansdale died Jan. 30, 2010, at Albert Einstein Hospital in Philadelphia. She was 69. Born Nov. 1, 1940, in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late William and Carrie (Gear) Kronmiller. She was the wife of John David Bell Sr., with whom she celebrated a 45th anniversary on Jan. 16. A former lifelong resident of the Frankford section of Philadelphia, she graduated from Frankford High School in 1959. She was a former member of Frankford Baptist Church and past president of Frankford High School Home and School Association. She was also a former member of the Order of the Eastern Star. Mrs. Bell worked as an administrator at Oreland Presbyterian Church in Oreland. She enjoyed arts and crafts, gardening and crocheting. She was an avid reader and very good cook and enjoyed watching old movies. In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son, J. David Bell Jr. (Jacqueline) of Lansdale; a daughter, Nicole Bell (Michael Overholt) of Collegeville; a granddaughter, Julia Overholt of Collegeville; and a brother, William Kronmiller of Philadelphia. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Feb. 5 at Carmel Presbyterian Church, 100 Edgehill Road, Glenside. Friends and relatives may call from 10 to 11 a.m. at the church. Interment will be private. Memorial contributions in her name may be made to Aid for Friends, 12271 Townsend Road, Philadelphia, PA 19154. Arrangements were made by John R. Freed Funeral Home, Glenside.
