Mike-
You were a great example for young men to follow. You were our baby-sitter, our hero as a high school wrestler and at times even our coach. We have all been touched by a great man!

To the Saks Family,
I taught with Mike's dad, Joe, for years before meeting Mike in a week-long summer course for graduate credit shortly after he started teaching. I don't remember much about the course, but I do know that I sat near Mike so our banter would make the time pass quicker. Funny, bright, and energetic, Mike made life lighter and better for a whole lot of people. My family will remember you all in our prayers as you find your way, a step at a time, on the journey ahead.

I sat in front of Mike in Physics class at North Penn. A mysterious someone from behind me would frequently pull on my hair but, when I looked around, Mike was always smiling innocently. Wonder who it could have been? To his wife and children, I am so sorry for your loss. Mike certainly kept high school physics interesting and always seemed to have something to smile about.

I am so happy to have had time to reconnect with Mike, a year ago, at Bones Grill, for our High School Reunion. I had no idea at that time what he had gone through. Keep an eye on all of us down here. All my love, Julee Wenhold Kerr

To my favorite High School teacher,
It was an honor to have known you, and to have been lucky enough to be one of your students. You took a kid hopeless at Math and pushed me to a B.
