Glenn Landers Obituary

Mr. Glenn Parker Landers, age 92 of Lynchburg, TN passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, July 6, 2021. Mr. Landers was born December 15, 1928, in Bedford County, TN, to the late Ollie Clyde Landers and Virginia Parker Landers. Glenn served his country in The U. S. Marines from May 1945 to May 1947. He lived in Huntsville, AL, for 26 years and retired from BellSouth/AT&T in 2001 with 20 years of service. After retirement, he and Emma Jean moved to Ridgeville subdivision on Tim's Ford Lake. He enjoyed feeding the deer and birds and watching the lake activity. He attended Highland Baptist Church in Tullahoma. He is preceded in death by a son, Glenn Dana Landers in 2004 and his wife, Emma Jean Elam Landers in 2010. He is survived by two daughters, Betty Smallen and her husband, Steve of Lynchburg and Ginger Watson and her husband, Bob of Huntsville, AL; a son, Todd Landers of Tullahoma; a sister, Mary Grace Phillips of Shelbyville; seven grandchildren, Jennifer Kelly, Julie Collins and her husband David, Ben Wilson and his wife Jamie, Lauren Smith and her husband Jeff, Selena Landers, Jamie Landers and Jennifer Lewis; ten great-grandchildren; and numerous nephews and nieces. Graveside services for family were July 9, 2021, at Rose Bank Cemetery in Flat Creek with Rev. Todd Coutta officiating.
