Waynoka Neel

Waynoka Neel MOORESVILLE Waynoka Poole Neel, 85, of Mt. Ulla, passed away at Brian Center in Mooresville Saturday, Aug. 18, 2012. She was born Sept. 17, 1926, in Iredell County, to the late Ed Monroe and Ruda Belle Broome Poole. Mrs. Neel retired from Templon Manufacturing as a payroll supervisor. She was a very active member of Prospect Presbyterian Church, an avid bridge player, loved the beach and to travel and bake. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Davis Neel; son, David L. Neel; and sisters, Kathryn Kluttz and Margaret Patterson. She is survived by her daughter, Lee Williams and husband, Mike, of Mooresville; grandchildren, Joshua and Kelly Foster; and great-grandson, Zachary Foster. The family will receive friends today, Wednesday, Aug. 22, from 10 to 11 a.m. at Prospect Presbyterian Church. Funeral services will follow the visitation at 11 a.m. at the church, with the Rev. Joanne Hull officiating. Burial will follow the service in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Prospect Presbyterian Church, 9425 W. NC Hwy 152, Mooresville, NC 28115.
