Deborah Epley Dyson

January 30, 1966 - April 26, 2021

Deborah Epley Dyson, 55, of Morganton, passed away Monday, April 26, 2021, at her residence, following a period of declining health.

Deborah was born Jan. 30, 1966, in Burke County, to Jim Epley and the late Nancy J. Chester Simpson. She was a CNA with Grace Hospital.

She is survived by her husband, Bobby Dyson of the home; two children, Brandy Hughes and husband, Adam, and Michael Dyson and wife, Brittany; three grandchildren, Wrenley, Bailey and Ava; her siblings, Lisa Epley Shoun, Jeff Epley, Tina Epley, Rodney Epley, Lisa Pitts, Tammy Bradley, Jimmy Epley and Jeff Pitts.

The funeral services will be held at 4 p.m., Sunday, May 2, at Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church, with the Rev. Brian Buckner officiating. Interment will follow in the Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday, from 2 to 4 p.m., at Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church.

Memorial contributions may be made to Burke Hospice and Palliative Care, 1721 Enon Rd., Valdese, NC 28690.
