August 28, 1935 - November 12, 2024

Jack Marion Gragg, 89, of Morganton, NC, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, November 12, 2024.

Born in Burke County, NC on August 28, 1935, he was the son of the late Hardee C. Gragg and Viola Gragg.

Jack was a member of Arney's Fairview Church. Along with his sons, he founded and co-owned Gragg Farm Supply. Mr. Gragg enjoyed traveling with his motorhome, but his love was working with his sons at his farm supply.

A devoted husband, father, and grandfather, Jack is survived by his children, Randy Gragg and Chris Gragg (Jeannie); grandchildren, Johnathan Gragg (Leslie) and Justin Gragg (Lindsey); great-grandchildren, Elly, Weston, and Jase Gragg; brother, Jerry Gragg; sister, Elaine Gragg Henderson; and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.

In addition to his parents, Jack was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Sue Abernathy Gragg; brothers, Harding, Maurice, and Doyle Gragg; and sisters, Vernice, Connie, and Louise.

The funeral was held on Friday, November 15, 2024 at Arney's Fairview Methodist Church and burial followed in the church cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to Arney's Fairview Church Cemetery Fund.
