Kim Ledbetter, 57, of Morganton, passed away Saturday, Feb. 13, 2021.
She was born July 18, 1963, in McDowell County. Kim was a member of Mt. Home Baptist Church and was devoted to her church by helping with the youth, devotionals, Bible studies and working in the kitchen. She enjoyed camping and loved her dog, Cindy Lou. She was preceded in death by her father, Ralph Dean Brendle.
Kim is survived by her husband of 13 years, David Ledbetter; daughters, Michelle Phillips (Jason) and Megan Ledbetter; grandson, Jaxon Phillips; mother and father, Jan Shuford and Mickie Shuford; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Russell and Ann Ledbetter; sister-in-law, Sherri Johnson (Kirby); and a number of their children and grandchildren; and a number of stepsiblings.
The family will receive friends from 12:30 to 2 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 20, at Mt. Home Baptist Church. The service will begin at 2 p.m., in the church, with the Rev. Jerry Gamble officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
