Margaret Harshaw Obituary
She was born to the late Lucille Hice Logan on Aug. 31, 1946 in Burke County, where she remained a lifelong resident.
Those left behind to cherish her memory include three daughters, Belinda Whithworth and her husband, Kelly, Angela Ervin and her husband, Donald, and Wendy Harshaw, all of Morganton; two sons, Kenny Harshaw and Christopher Harshaw, both of Morganton; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; an aunt, Annie Johnson of Morganton; and numerous other relatives and friends.
In addition to her mother, Margaret was preceded in death by her stepfather, Sylvester Logan.
A memorial service will be held at 5 p.m. today at the Unity New Zion Temple Church in Lenoir with Pastor Sharon Logan officiating.
Kirksey Funeral Home of Morganton has the honor of serving the family.

It's at times like this that you don't know what to say to God, it's okay, He knows and He promises not to leave you. Hold on to that promise and be comforted in knowing that Margaret's suffering is over. You are in my thoughts and prayers. A former classmate of Margaret's.
