What i needed the most was the essentials that papa provide in abundance. He gave me unconditional love, kindness, patience, humor, comfort, lessons in life. And, most importantly, cookies.

We are so sorry about this news. We have been out of town since August 29 and just now were able to see this online. Maurice was a good friend, a member of the Oak Hill class of 1952, and will be sorely missed by all his Oak Hill High School and Ruritan Club friends. We send our condolences and love to Jane and all the family.

What an awesome guy! Every time I saw Maurice, he'd be smiling and wanting to tell you something just to make you laugh. Now that I think back I wished I'd told him. I wished I'd told him he was someone special, to care so much about people, even people he didn't know that well, he wanted to see you laugh and if he didnt know you, he wanted to. Jane was always by his side keeping him straight, and Im sure he'd comment on that too. I will miss him, but thank God Im a believer in Jesus Christ and I will see him again. He liked to travel and see beautiful things. I bet he's wanting to tell Jane that he can't wait until she sees heaven, what beauty and splendor he must see? I ask Jesus to be right beside Jane, I know that he is, but we all need to remember her when she thinks weve forgotten. Two great people.
