Patsy Bingham MORGANTON Patsy Bingham, 78, of Morganton, died Monday, July 16, 2012. Born in Cleveland County May 3, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Jenes Melton and Maudie Loami Beatty Melton. Patsy was a member of Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church. A loving mother and grandmother, she is survived by her sons, Mark Bingham and wife, Tamra, and Jeffrey Bingham and wife, Kimberly; grandchildren, Emily, Ben, Phillip and Travis Bingham; brother, Herman Melton and wife, Maude; and a number of nephews and nieces. In addition to her parents, Patsy was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Fermin Glenn Bingham; siblings, Zeno, Everette, Fay, Fred, Rosco, Vosco and Annie Melton, and Ethel Guffey. The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 18, at Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church with the Rev. George Williams officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
