June 10, 1939 - January 18, 2022
Phyllis Hull Weeks, 82, of Morganton, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 18, 2022, at Autumn Care of Drexel, following a period of declining health.
Phyllis was born June 10, 1939, in Burke County, to the late Fred T. Hull and Beulah Hunt Hull. She was a member of Walker Road Baptist Church and in her youth, sang gospel traveling with her sisters. Phyllis was a loving and wonderful mother, and always had a very forgiving heart.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Sarah Jacquelene "Jackie" Hull; and brother-in-law, Don M. Pursley.
She is survived by her daughter, Kim Weeks; son, Ronnie Weeks and wife, Diane; sister, Jean Hull Pursley; niece, Donna Pursley Broyhill and husband, John; and great-niece, Sarah Broyhill.
A private memorial service will be held by the family at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, www.alz.org.

I remember well a birthday party for Phyllis, she was 8 or 9 yrs. We had so much fun! We all wore our Sunday best, I remember a few of the kids names. Frances, me, Betty, Loretta, Lois , others have slipped my mind! Rest in peace Phyllis, you deserve it!
