I dont think I have ever met a more giving couple than Bob and Essie. I had the privilege of working and traveling with Bob during my early years at Great Lakes Carbon. Bob was truely loved by everyone he came in contact with and a true mentor to me. I know first hand that his heart was broken when Essie passed. When ever I was in town I was always a guest at their house. Bob was a great man and will be missed he is now together with the love of his life.

A great tribute paid to Bob, altho I didn't know him. I worked with Maggie Lee at Southern Bell and went to high school with Jimmy. Both very people. My sympathy to the family. Reba P Reece
