Susan Keller Jarrett, 64, of Morganton, passed away Friday, July 9, 2021.
She was born Feb. 11, 1957, in Burke County, to the late John Wesley Keller and Kathryn Sisk Keller. She was a faithful member of Gibbs Chapel Wesleyan Church. Susan worked as a speech therapist at Eastfield Global Magnet School in Marion.
She is survived by her husband, Kirby Jarrett; son, Kurt Jarrett (Sarah); brother, Stephen Keller; and sisters, Joyce Crump (Howard) and Glenda Slaughter (Blair).
The family will receive friends from 4 to 5 p.m., Tuesday, July 13, at Gibbs Chapel Wesleyan Church. The funeral service will begin at 5 p.m. in the church, with the Rev. Cris Uren officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

So sorry to hear Susan's passing. She was a great person and always made me and Mom feel welcome. Always enjoyed being around her at family dinners. She will always be in my thoughts and prayers. Love you all. Trish and Debbie.

I am so sorry to learn of your wife´s passing. Seems like just yesterday you and James Reid was over there playing the French Horn doing the little feet movement and trying hard not to get caught by Ms Thompson or Ms Brooks. Life is precious and passes so fast. May you find peace knowing Susan is Absent in the body but present with the Lord. Sending prayers and healing for you and your family. Fondly remembered, Pam
