Agnes Zelinski Obituary
She was born September 4, 1923, in Lorain and was a graduate of Lorain High School. Agnes was a member of the former Holy Cross Church, St. Agnes Church as a member of the Altar and Rosary Society, Polish Club Ladies Auxiliary and she volunteered at Birthright. She enjoyed baking, sewing, reading and had a great love for her family. Agnes was an LPN where she worked for EMH.
Survivors include her sons, Richard of Vermilion and Robert (Sue) of Enon, Ohio; 10 grandchildren; and 15 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Leo; daughter, Patricia; and 6 siblings.
The family will receive friends 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, January 19, at the Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd. (at St. Rt. 57) in Elyria, 440-322-4626. A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Saturday, January 20, at St. Agnes Catholic Church, 611 Lake Avenue, Elyria, Ohio 44035 (Please meet at church). Fr. Lawrence Tosco, CSJ, will be the Celebrant. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Lorain.
