Lynnette Monteleone Obituary

LORAIN - Lynnette M. Monteleone, (nee Dlugos), 68, of Lorain, passed away Saturday, January 29, 2011 at Mercy Regional Medical Center, Lorain, following a short illness.
She was born October 30, 1942 in Lorain, living in Lorain her entire life.
Lynnette worked as a waitress at Avon Oaks Country Club for 18 years, retiring in 1989. She attended the Church of St. Peter, Lorain.
She enjoyed reading, gardening, planting flowers, sewing, bird watching and spending time with her grandchildren.
Surviving is her husband, Joseph L.; sons, Joseph M. Oswalt of Sandusky, Jim Oswalt and John Monteleone both of Lorain; a daughter, Tracy Keene of Lorain; 7 grandchildren; brothers, John Dlugos of Phoenix, Ariz., Jim Dlugos of Dublin, Oh.; sisters, Pat Williams of Lorain, and Debbie Flores of Sandusky.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Dolores (Litz) Dlugos; and a brother, Dennis Dlugos.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 4:00 to 8:00 pm in the Dovin Funeral Home, 2701 Elyria Avenue, Lorain, where funeral services will be Thursday at 9:00 am followed by mass at 9:30 am at the Church of St. Peter, 3651 Oberlin Avenue, Lorain. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Lorain.

My Condolences. To the Family. I was a paper boy for, the Dlugos family in the early 50's, Was a classmate Of John's, Then Mon, and brother died and I missed the next year, before returning to Clearview. I Drive down 254 Remembering the home place, location. The last on that end of the paper, route. Lynette was not born in those days? But the Dlugos family were great people.
