Nancy Kauffman Probst Obituary

Nancy Kauffman Probst, age 86, passed away peacefully in the arms of her children on July 29, 2018.
Nancy was a graduate of Kent State University and was a patron of the Cleveland Arts. She enjoyed gathering her many friends to join her in this passion. She loved the game of Bridge, loved travel and loved her Cleveland Indians. She was a member of the Avon Lake United Church of Christ.
Nancy will be remembered most by her beautiful smile and her ability to warm the hearts of all that she met. Her wit was contagious and beloved by all.
Her life will be forever cherished in the lives of her children: David Probst (Cindy) of Dublin, Ohio, Jeff Probst (Cindy) of Denver, CO, Lisa Grenci (Craig) of Pittsburgh, PA, and Doug Probst (Patty) of Atlanta, GA. She is also survived by ten very loved grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Guests are welcome at the church at 12:30 P.M. to visit with the family until the time of the memorial service at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, September 22, 2018, at the Avon Lake United Church of Christ, 32801 Electric Blvd., Avon Lake, Ohio 44012. Light refreshments will be served after the memorial service at the church.

It will be 60 years in Feb.2019 that I first met Nancy when I attended my first "Tripoly" card group. It has been a joy to have known her all these years and I'm so sorry that these last years have seen the end of our fun evenings, lunches, special parties and swim parties at our greenhouse.
