Therese Reinhardt Obituary
Therese was born in Memphis, TN, on September 27, 1921, to the late John C. and Ethel M. (nee Barbieri) Miles. She moved to Lorain in 1958. Therese and her late husband, Gene owned and operated the Dairy Queen, from 1975 till the late 1990's, passing the family business to daughter and son-in-law, now known as Terry's Dairy, on East Erie Ave.
She was a member of the Royal Palm Country Club in Naples, the Bridge Club, the Lady Nine Holers Golf Club and the Westlake Ladies Club. Therese enjoyed still painting, sewing, cake decorating, golfing, interior design, and traveling.
She is survived by daughters, Elizabeth H. Konya, Therese M. (William) Haines, Jean M Reinhardt, son John C. (Pam) Reinhardt, of Lorain, 7 grandchildren, several great grandchildren, and numerous great great grandchildren.
Services will be private.
The family suggest memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital in Memphis, TN.
The Schwartz, Spence, Boyer & Cool Home For Funerals is handling the arrangements.

Mike and I are so sad to hear of Therese's passing as it was just last month that we were together with all the friends on a Wednesday at the Royal Palm for dinner. Our sympathy for all of her children and friends as we loved Therese.

If I was to rank the nicest people I have known in my life there is no doubt Mrs. Reinhardt would be right at the top of the list. Having known her since 1959, she was the definition of a Southern Belle, a model mother, grandmother and wife to her fantastic husband. Certainly a great family is a reflection of her nurturing and, without a doubt, that is her legacy. Linda's and my deepest condolences and prayers go out to Betsy, Sissy, John and Jean. I am so sorry to hear if Mrs. Reinhardt's passing. She was a beautiful person inside and out and I am happy that I got to know her in the time I worked at Dairy Queen. I know she will truly be missed. We all loved her very much.
