Lorene Honsicker Obituary
Mrs. Honsicker was born January 17, 1927 in rural Arcadia, Kansas the daughter of Momie and Flossie Russell Brunk.
Lorena was a homemaker who lived in rural Pittsburg since 1955. She was raised in rural Arcadia, attended Hatch Grade School, and graduated from Arcadia High School.
She enjoyed playing bingo and most of all loved her family.
She married Roy Lee Honsicker on March 7, 1948 at Arma, Kansas.
Mr. Honsicker preceded her in death March 3, 2001.
She was a member of the Mt. Olive Baptist Church at Girard.
Survivors include a daughter, Sue (Larry) Adams of rural Pittsburg, a son, Danny (Linda) Honsicker of rural Pittsburg, three grandchildren, and three great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two brothers, and eight sisters.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 20, 2016 at the Girard Cemetery with Pastor Tom Lewis of the Mt. Olive Baptist Church officiating.
Friends may call 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday at the Bedene Funeral Home at Arma.
The Family suggests memorials to the Mirza Shrine Transportation Fund or the Mt. Olive Baptist Church.
Donations may be sent to or left at the Bedene Funeral Home, 517 E. Washington, Box 621, Arma, Kansas 66712.

Sue and Larry,
I'm so sorry for your loss Sue! Your Mother always came to Bingo at the HC Community Center when I was there and our Path meetings!! She was such a sweet lady, and always had a smile on her face!! I always liked her! We would visit when she came until the event started!! May her soul rest in eternal peace and God bring you comfort in the days ahead!!
