Thomas B. Butler
Lansing - Thomas B. Butler, 65, of Lansing, Kan., died Monday, Aug. 9, 2021, at Providence Medical Center. He was born March 4, 1956, in Parsons, Kan., the son of Bernard Butler and Katherine (Kanute) Butler.
On Oct. 28, 1983, Thomas married Denise De Lange in St. Paul, Kan. She survives at the home. He is also survived by his mother, Katherine (Kunute) Butler of St. Paul, Kan.; his children, Christopher Butler of Lansing, Diane Butler of Lansing and Mary Katherine Owens of Overland Park, Kan.; and his siblings, Anita Kay, Colleen (Jon) Lindstrom, Joe (Judy) Butler, Beverly (Steve) Schaich, Ruth (Peter) Hatley and Ed (Nancy) Butler.
He was preceded in death by his father, Bernard Butler and brother, Nicholas Butler.
Thomas was an avid fisherman.
Visitation will be from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 14, 2021, at St. Francis deSales Church. Mass of Christian burial will follow at 10:30 a.m. at the church. Burial will be at St. Francis Catholic Cemetery in St. Paul, Kan. Arrangements by R. L. Leintz Funeral Home.
