Thomas Hyatt Obituary
Pittsburg - Thomas P. Hyatt, 41, of Pittsburg, passed away on July 3, 2021 after a hard fought battle against COVID-19.
He was born November 15, 1979, the son of William and Anne Hyatt. He was a resident of Arma and Pittsburg for his whole life. He was an avid gamer and car enthusiast.
Survivors include his children Dominic Hyatt, of Pittsburg, Kassidy Leastman of Arma, Shayne Leastman of Grabill, Indiana, and Walter and Isaiah Campbell of Pittsburg, his sister, Clare Hyatt, of Calgary, Alberta, Canada, his girlfriend Natasha Campbell of Pittsburg, and numerous friends that he called family. He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.
Memorial services will be a private function at a later date. In lieu of flowers or memorials, the family asks that you ensure that yourself, your friends and your family are vaccinated against this deadly virus. Arrangements are under the direction of the Brenner Mortuary, 114 E. 4th St., Pittsburg, KS.

I am so sorry to learn of Thomas´ passing. I am a first cousin to his father. I remember Thomas as a young boy playing at his grandmother Sally´s home in Pittsburg. Covid has brought such sad times. Ken Hyatt, son of Dale Hyatt, also succumbed to this horrible unnecessary disease. May God keep you in peace knowing all will be together again one day.

Thomas and I were friends and even "dated" in sixth grade. He was always kind and generous. I'll never forget him.

I knew Thomas as a Dread from s9.
We met in online game but he become my family. Always when i needed help he was there for me. We talked for hours about everything. When i found out he's gone I didn't wanted believe that. I still can't believe that.
We all miss you brother. Whole state 9 miss you and will never forget you.

Thomas was a good friend. I´m a college kid that takes the bus from school to work and he was always right there every morning. I knew I could talk to him about anything. If I was worried about a test he´d tell me a joke to make me smile. If I was having trouble with my family, he´d tell me it was going to be ok. I woke up every morning knowing I had a friend to listen. He will be dearly missed by this community.
