Colleen L. Hayes

Colleen L. Hayes, 60-year-old resident of Little Falls, MN, passed away Sunday, September 14, 2025, at the Northridge Care Center in New Hope, MN.

Funeral Service held at 2:00 P.M. on Thursday, September 18, 2025 at the LeMieur Funeral Home in Little Falls with Dale Siers officiating. Burial at the Freedhem Cemetery. Visitation held one hour prior to the service on Thursday at the LeMieur Funeral Home in Little Falls, MN. In lieu of flowers, Colleen's wish is to have daffodils planted in her memory. Caring for Colleen and her family is the LeMieur Funeral Home in Little Falls, MN.

Colleen Lynn Hayes was born on September 18, 1964, in Little Falls, MN, to the late Freeman and Virginia (James) Hayes. She lived in the Pierz, Little Falls area all her life. Colleen attended Pierz High School, graduating with the class of 1983. In her lifetime, she worked at Village Inn Products in Harding and Designer Wood in Genola. Due to her medical challenges, she was unable to continue working. Colleen then devoted her life to family and friends, especially her many nieces and nephews and their families. Her graduating class of 1983 always had a very special place in her heart. Colleen's hobbies included crafting, writing and sending cards with stickers as her signature, garage sales, collecting jewelry, and Beanie Babies. She also enjoyed watching TV, especially, Sylvester and Tweety, baseball games, and HGTV house renovating.

Colleen is survived by her sisters, Rosanne (Jerry) Keehr, Sheri and Janine Hayes, all of Little Falls; brothers, Tim (Dori) and Chip Hayes of Pierz; 17 nieces and nephews and 39 great-nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Freeman and Virginia Hayes; grandparents; and niece, Gina (Keehr) Virnig.
