Keith Kramer Obituary

Keith D. Kramer, 71-year-old resident of Little Falls, MN, passed away Friday, June 21, 2024 at his home in Little Falls, MN. Caring for Keith and his family is the Shelley Funeral Chapel in Little Falls, MN.

Keith was born in St. Cloud, MN on June 6, 1953 to Roy and Norma Kramer. In the 60's, the family bought a cabin on Crow Wing Lake near Fort Ripley. The place changed a few times over 50 years, but the fun with cousins and friends was, and is still, full of fond memories and stories to reminisce about around the kitchen table. Keith attended Cathedral Tech and Apollo High Schools. He worked a few jobs over the years with Burlington Northern Track Department being his favorite. Montana was a yearly destination for Keith and he finally made the decision to move there for a dozen years later in his life. He made friends easily, was well-known, and a regular at the Blue Moon. He enjoyed being a Grandpa, and his granddaughter Lydia was the apple of his eye. Keith lived the final year of his life in Little Falls at the Buckman and made some fast friends there. He enjoyed the daily newspaper (especially the obituary section), traveling the western states, camping, hiking, fishing, cribbage, beer and his "smoke." He was always a diehard and dedicated Twins and Vikings fan.

Keith is survived by his loyal dog and companion, Alice; his son, Tony (wife Sue) Kramer; his much-loved granddaughter, Lydia; siblings: brother Dennis (Joyce) Kramer of Laurel, MT, sister Sandi (Tom) Waverek of Kalispell, MT, brother Rick (Jean) Kramer of Kalispell, MT, and sister Cheryl (Mark) Hohesel of St. Cloud, FL; sister-in-law, Donna Kramer of Kalispell, MT and a bunch of nephews and nieces he was proud of and loved. They all have their own stories to tell that we can share with laughter and a smile. He will be remembered well.

Keith was preceded in death by his parents, Norma Schnable and Roy Kramer; his brother, Kevin Kramer; nephew, Patrick Kramer and too many friends.

He will be cremated and laid to rest next to his mother at Oak Land Cemetery, Fort Ripley, MN.
