Michael Hoheisel

1955 - 2025

Michael "Mike" John Hoheisel, passed away at his home on February 10, 2025, at the age of 69.

Mike was born on June 16, 1955, in Little Falls, MN, to Frank and Josephine (Otremba) Hoheisel. He married the love of his life, Eileen Rose Maschler, on November 17, 1995, in Pierz, MN.

Mike found joy in spending time outdoors, especially with his beloved John Deere tractors-whether it was plowing snow or mowing the grass. His love for nature extended to fishing, where he found peace by the water. He was a fan of westerns and horror movies, always ready for a movie night, and enjoyed playing cards with family and friends.

But Mike's greatest joy came from his family. He cherished every moment spent with his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, who brought immense happiness into his life. His legacy of love, laughter, and kindness will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.

Mike is survived by his loving wife, Eileen; children, Curtis (Amanda) Hoheisel, Nicholas Hoheisel, Lucas Hoheisel, Greg (Ally) Schommer, Marty (Brittany) Schommer, and Cari (Dave) Stumpf; 11 grandchildren, Mason, Kaylee, Harrison, Zack, Austin, Alex, Tyler, Brandon, Abby, Elizabeth, and Anna; five great-grandchildren; and siblings, Rosi Kohler, Russell (Cathy) Hoheisel, Sandy (Bill) Virnig, Paul Hoheisel, and Anna (Gregg) Vait.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Josephine Hoheisel; his in-laws, Laurence and Rosina Maschler; nephew, Justin Hoheisel; and brothers-in-law, Bobby Schlichting and Dan Kohler.

Visitation held on Friday, February 14, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at St. James Catholic Church in Randall, MN. Funeral Mass celebrated on Saturday, February 15, 2025, at 11:00 AM, with a visitation one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
