Annette M. Ebert, age 97, of Mt. Gilead died Friday Jan. 31, 2014 at the home of her daughter, surrounded by her family. She was born March 26, 1916 to the late John F. and Annie (Davis) Helman.
Annette had worked at the canvas factory in Delaware, for the Omar Bakery, Cook's Restaurant in Marion and then retired from the Morrow County Hospital. She was a member of the Claridon United Methodist Church, Unit #97 of the American Legion Auxiliary in Cardington, the Silver Twig at Morrow County Hospital, and the Ashley Grange.
Annette was married to Levi H. Ebert and he preceded her in death in 1986.
Annette is survived by her children; Shirley Dendinger of Edison, Robert L (Cheryl) Ebert of Sunbury, and Clyde A. (Pam) Ebert of Waldo; siblings Viola Fraizer of Nebraska and Donald (Betty) Helman of Mt. Gilead; 11 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband and parents, Annette was preceded in death by three brothers, three sisters and two grandchildren.
Friends may call on Tuesday, February 4, 2014 from 5:00 until 8:00 PM at Gompf Funeral Home in Cardington where the funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 5, 2014 at 11:00 AM. Pastor Frank Zugaro of the Claridon United Methodist Church will officiate and the burial will follow in Waldo Cemetery.
