Nancy R. Sheets, age 76, of Mount Gilead, passed away Sunday, May 22, 2016, at her residence, following a courageous battle with cancer.
She was born on September 15, 1939, to the late Charles E. and Vera (Alexander) Ward in Chillicothe, OH, and graduated from Grove City High School.

Some of the family favorites include: potato salad, deviled eggs, lasagna, potato soup, meatloaf, and Christmas cookies of which she would bake a hundred dozen or so each year. Nancy also liked to sew, quilt, and crochet. Each child was given the gift of one of her quilts.
Outside of taking care of her family, Nancy liked to indulge herself with bingo and slot machines. She enjoyed the Hollywood Casino and going to Vegas. Every chance she got, Nancy also liked to beat her husband in a good game of cards. With a love for the outdoors, Nancy enjoyed the times she spent camping with family. She will be remembered for being a wonderful and caring wife, mother, and grandmother.
