Patsy Rose Cutler of Delaware, Ohio peacefully went home on Tuesday, February 16th, 2016, while at the Bennington Glen Care Center near Marengo, OH. Patsy fought a long and determined battle. Most of us could never have waged the battle that Patsy endured.
Patsy was born on April the 7th 1942. She was delivered in Plain City to the late Charles and Emily Clark. She was one of 5 children born from this marriage. Deceased are, Charles, Jerry, Margret, and Roberta, Survived by sister Elizabeth Kinney of Columbus, many nephews and nieces.
Patsy and her family moved early on to the Delaware County area of Hyatts. She attended Hyatts Elementary School where she loved sports and cheerleading. Busy in many school activities she graduated from Olentangy High School, where she participated in sports, band, and was a member of the National Honor Society. As a cheerleader, during her 7th grade year she met a special boy that was a basketball player Curtis "Butch" Cutler. This chance meeting turned out to be a special marriage for nearly 57 years. They married shortly after graduating from Olentangy High School in 1959-1960 and to this union 3 children were born; Larry (deceased), Laura Decot, of Powell, Curtis Lee of Westerville, Grandchildren Margo, Dustin, Nick, Ryan, Jack, Carson, Kaylie, Two great grandchildren, Jay, and Jen.
Up on completion of raising her children, Patsy worked at the ODNR for the State of Ohio. She worked for the division of water and gas for 22 years. She loved to sew; cook, garden, and watch her grandchildren play sports. She loved spoiling her grandchildren and spending time with her family.
Patsy was a believer, and a member of Orange Road Friends Church in Lewis Center. Patsy and her husband "Butch" as he is called were never separated from any part of life. They were constantly joined entirely from day one. Patsy just loved life, and she is going to love her next one.
Patsy and Butch will eventually be together as one at St. Mary Cemetery, Delaware. A private service will be held at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to Snyder-Rodman Funeral Center in Delaware.
The family would like to think everyone for the numerous cards and prayers, and for all of the staff at Bennington Glen Care Center, who were top notch in their care and compassion. During her final hours Heartland Hospice of Marion was in coordination with Bennington, and they were very caring, compassionate, and covered all so well.
Any contributions can be made in Patsy's name to Orange Road Friends Church, 3467 E. Orange Rd, Lewis Center, OH 43035.

I am so saddened to hear of the loss of such a sweet, kind and loving soul. Patsy was a precious cousin that I didn't have the opportunity to know as well as I wished growing up estranged from my family. I never thought that the last time I had the opportunity to visit with her that it would be the last time just last year. I am praying for your family Patsy and I know that you are now with many of them.
