Alvin Jerome Davis

Alvin Jerome Davis passed away peacefully on August 6, 2025 at the age of 66. He was born in Charleston, South Carolina and attended Charleston County Schools. Alvin was a proud graduate of C. A. Brown High School, Class of 1977. After high school, he attended Devry University in Atlanta Ga. He was a member of ILA Local 1422 for many years. He was proceeded in death by his father, James Guest, mother, Elizabeth Davis and brother, Ronald Davis. He is survived by his daughter, Altavise Mayo, son-in-law, Anthony Mayo, and grandson, Justin Mayo. He will be missed by his siblings, Edward Smith (Michele), Miriam Jeter (Albert), Shelia Davis, Anthony Davis, Tony Guest, William Higgins, LaShune Sherrod, Denel Davis, his favorite cousin and the matriarch of the family Carolyn Davis, along with a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives. A memorial service celebrating Alvin's life will be held at: Mt. Pleasant Memorial Waterfront 99 Harry M. Hallman Jr. Blvd. Mount Pleasant, SC 29464 Saturday, August 23, 2025, at 12 p.m.
