Connie Willett Obituary

Connie May Willett, 87, of Charleston, South Carolina, passed away on September 2, 2025. Born May 12, 1938, in Buffalo, New York, Connie grew up there and graduated from Tonawanda High School. She went on to live in Richmond, Virginia, then Memphis, Tennessee, where she had a career as an office manager for Terry and Terry Home Builders, before retiring in Charleston, SC She traveled widely, visiting many different countries. She loved decorating, holidays and cooking. Known for preparing elaborate gourmet meals, Connie found joy in entertaining family and friends around her table. Above all, Connie cherished her family. She is survived by her daughter, Angelique Tucker, and her son, Edward Nabors. She was a proud grandmother to John, Lauren and Carmin Tucker, and a devoted great-grandmother to Jade Jackson, Adrian Sargent, and Nora Tucker. She was predeceased by her parents Ralph Ruskin Gold and Anna Bernice Gold, her brothers Ralph, Donald, Harold, Lawrence, and Orville, and her sisters Janice and Helene. Connie's zest for life and devotion to family will be deeply missed by all who loved her. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Connie's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, the American Cancer Society, the ASPCA -causes close to her heart.
