Alan Yoffee Obituary

Alan N. Yoffee CANANDAIGUA - Alan N. Yoffee, 59, passed away peacefully on Friday, Aug. 13, 2010, at home. In honoring his wishes, there will be no calling hours. A funeral service will be held on Monday, August 16, at 10 a.m. at Palmisano Funeral Home Inc., 28 Genesee St., Geneva. Burial will follow in Sandhill Cemetery. Contributions may be directed to Sharing Our Bread, 1326 N. Winton Road, Rochester, NY 14609. Alan was born on April 6, 1951 in Wilkes-Barre, Pa. and was the son of the late Milton and Esther (Rosenbaum) Yoffee. He worked as a radio announcer for CQ102 in Geneva. Alan had a passion for music. He liked to play the guitar and performed in many area bands. Alan was a loving husband, father and brother. He is survived by his loving wife, Susan (Gordner) Yoffee of Canandaigua; daughters, Melissa and Michelle Yoffee, both of Canandaigua; sister, Gail (Lou) Wohlmuth of Pikesville, Md.; and several nieces and nephews. I am so sorry for your loss. Dangerous Dan was one of my favorite radio people. I told him at the time that if we put him on mornings at CQ-102 it would be called" Coffee with Yoffee"

He sure did love those powdered doughnuts. He would come in every
afternoon with Powder all over his face.
